Genki Wagyu Shabu House, IVEA's wagyu shabu-shabu restaurant, is open at 870 Festival St. in the Twinbrook Quarter of Rockville, MD, next to Wegmans. Its menu is Chef Junzo Miyajima's wagyu shabu menu.
## Three tiers
Bethesda Magazine reports three all-you-can-eat tiers: Silver at $58, Gold at $78 and Diamond at $98. Diamond, the most indulgent, adds A5 wagyu, a seafood platter and unlimited sushi. There are six broths to choose from, and the thin slices of meat cook in the broth in seconds.
## The room
The restaurant covers 4,000 square feet on two levels and seats up to 120. The upper level is styled after torii gates.
## Hours
During its soft opening the restaurant served dinner only: Sunday to Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m.
